Mr. Love & Justice

This song was written based on something I said to Billy when I finally got to meet him in Oct. of '06, at the Great American Music Hall in SF, CA, USA. He was signing copies of his (then) new book, and when it was my turn, as I was shaking his hand, I said: "you give me faith in humanity" to which he took his other hand and clasped our two entwined hands, got a really intense look on his face, looked me right in the eyes, and said: "No, it's ALL of us...YOU give ME faith in humanity." And then, in concert, June 11th, while introducing the song "I Keep Faith", he said the EXACT same words...
